Welcome to Kit Happens. By placing an order, you're agreeing to these terms. We've kept them in plain English because nobody reads legalese, but they still apply, so give them a scan.
1. The Basics
You confirm you're at least 18, or you've got a parent or guardian who's happy for you to order. We can update these terms at any time. If we make a big change, we'll flag it.
2. Products
We do our best to make sure descriptions, images, and details are spot-on. That said, screens vary, slight differences in colour or finish can happen. Everything's subject to availability. If something sells out, we'll let you know.
3. Pricing
All prices are in GBP (£) unless we say otherwise. We can change prices at any time, but any order you've already placed and we've confirmed will be honoured at the price you paid.
4. Orders
When you place an order, you'll get a confirmation email. That confirms we've received it, not that we've accepted it. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order (stock issues, pricing errors, dodgy activity, etc.). If we cancel, you get a full refund. No messing about.
5. Shipping
Orders are dispatched next business day.
- UK: 4-7 working days, tracked. Free on all orders, no minimum.
- USA & Canada: 7-14 working days, tracked. Shipping costs calculated at checkout.
- Rest of world: 4-7 working days, tracked. Shipping costs calculated at checkout.
These are estimates, not guarantees. We're not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail, customs, or anything else outside our control, but if something goes properly missing, get in touch and we'll sort it.
6. Sizing
We recommend ordering one size up unless the product page says otherwise. Some items run smaller than standard UK sizing. Check the size guide before you order, we can't offer refunds purely for getting the wrong size (but see our returns policy below for your cooling-off rights).
7. Returns & Refunds
We want you to be happy with what you get. Here's how returns work:
(a) Change of mind (cooling-off period)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, no reason needed. To exercise this right:
- Contact us within 14 days of delivery.
- Return the item in its original condition, unworn, with tags attached.
- You're responsible for return postage costs.
- We'll process your refund within 14 days of receiving the item back.
Exclusions: Personalised items (e.g. shirts with custom printing/name & number) cannot be returned for change of mind. That's your name on the back, we can't sell it to someone else.
(b) Faulty or defective items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to return faulty goods within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. This covers:
- Damaged items
- Stitching faults
- Printing defects
- Incorrect or poor-quality finish
- Items not matching their description
Contact us with your order number and clear photos of the issue. If we confirm a fault, we'll cover return postage and give you a full refund or replacement, your choice.
After 30 days but within 6 months, we'll offer a repair or replacement first. If that fails, you're entitled to a refund.
(c) How to request a return
Email us with your order number, what's wrong (or that you'd like to cancel), and photos if it's a quality issue. We'll get back to you within 2 business days.
8. Intellectual Property
Everything on this site, text, images, branding, logos, belongs to Kit Happens unless we say otherwise. Don't copy it, reproduce it, or pass it off as your own.
9. Limitation of Liability
We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using our site or products. Our maximum liability is capped at the amount you paid for the product in question. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
